Magical
in Naucalpan, northern Mexico City, is one of the world’s best kept secrets: Quetzalcoatl’s Nest and Park. The beautiful, other-worldly living space and park has been created by Mexican architect Javier Senosiain. Throughout the spacious park, remarkable sculptures and spectacular multi-colored mosaic serpents are alternatively foreground and background, whimsically inhabiting Senosiain’s distinctively Mexican kingdom. These serpentine structures and functional spaces, such as areas for seating and climbing, have been meticulously crafted by local artisans. This photo is a close-up look at one of these stunning mosaics.
