Streaming Through Zion

The Virgin River gently winds through Utah’s Zion National Park, and for stretches flows alongside the Pa’rus Trail. Named after the Paiute word for "bubbling water," this trail follows alongside, crosses over, and meanders at a distance from, the river. Its banks overgrown with thirsty plants, the Virgin River’s surface mirrors the late afternoon sky above as the sun sets.
